Transitional Pastor
Charles Kimball
As an 11 and 12 year old, I was seeking to know God. But I did not know how to find God on my own, and no one I knew did either. Just before I turned 13, God led my family to Baptist Fellowship Church in Columbia, Connecticut. Finally, I found people who knew Jesus as Lord.
They led me to commit my life to Jesus as Lord and be in relationship with him. How wonderful! A few months later Jesus called me to serve him as a pastor. God led me to prepare for ministry by attending Southwest Baptist University (Bolivar, MO) and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (Ft. Worth, TX).
I have served the Lord as a youth minister in Texas and a pastor in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Georgia, and Missouri.
I am married to Connie, the love of my life for more than 40 years. We have a son Joshua who lives with his wife Meleah in Austin. Our church is also family to us.
I am privileged to be pastoring the wonderful people at Rock Creek Baptist Church. If you are looking for a relationship with Jesus like I was many years ago, we’d love to show you how you can be in relationship with him. If you want to grow spiritually, come be our guest and consider joining us on a wonderful journey with God at Rock Creek Baptist Church.
